Earned Income Credit Requirement Worksheet

There are several tests that your household must meet in order to qualify for the Earned Income Credit. This worksheet will help you find the required information.

Electronic Filing of Federal & State Tax Returns

Electronic Filing or e-filing saves you the hassle of waiting in line at the post office, or having to track return receipts.

The IRS requires Tax Practitioners to eFile if they file more than 10 returns. While it is clearly beneficial to the IRS, we also feel that it benefits the taxpayer.

Employer Health Care Mandate Postponed Until 2015

The Obama Administration has announced that it is postponing the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act’s (PPACA<) mandatory employer and insurer reporting requirements for one year. As a result, the administration also announced that it will waive the imposition of any employer-shared responsibility penalty payments for 2014. This effectively means that employers with 50 or more employees will not be required to provide health insurance to their employees or face a penalty until 2015.

Estate & Trust Planning

Death and Taxes may be certain, but they don't have to go together.

Plan with intelligence and the inevitable will not be a fiscal nightmare for your friends and family. We are honored to say that many of our clients and their loved ones have chosen us to guard their estates, and we would be proud to do so for yours as well.

Estimated Payment Due

Taxpayers who do not pay at least 90 percent of their tax through withholding generally are required to estimate their income tax liability and make quarterly payments of that liability during the year on the 15th day of the 4th, 6th, 9th and 12th months of their tax year. This applies to some Corporations and certain exempt organizations as well. Note, that if this date falls on a weekend or a holiday, the deadline will be the next business day.

Extension Worksheet

The Extension Worksheet will help us prepare a Form 4868 for your individual tax return.

To escape late-filing penalties, not late-paying penalties, the IRS requires that your tax liability be properly estimated. We cannot guarantee that there will be no penalties.
